About the Art
Our African Art
is carefully selected. I look for unique items and only work with
honest runners. I find out as much information as possible on a piece,
such as where it is from, how old it is, and why the tribe allowed the
item to be sold. It is important to me that all aspects of the piece of
art are covered.
We offer art in Metals, Terracotta, Masks, Figures in Wood, and Misc. Wood pieces. It brings me great joy to offer unique pieces of
excellent quality and history to the public. |

Mexican Folk-Art is not only fun, it is used in every day life. I love the uniqueness of each piece. The spontaneity and colors of Mexican Folk-Art lighten one's soul. Not only do they incorporate their traditions, but the artists have such a great sense of humor. One of the things I love the most about the art is that you can only find a type of art for a couple of years before the artist move on. It was always fun to see "What's Next". |
Mexican Textiles have such an incredible history. I became fascinated and studied the history of weaving through the conquest of Mexico, each war, and traditions that led back to Spain. I also learned how tourism affected the styles. Our weavings are from the 1920's to early 1950's. We do offer some older pieces as well. The story of each weaving is provided to the best of my ability. |

This newly added category is one of my most personal and favourite. I started collecting Native American Indian art in the early 1970's. I bought most pieces directly from the artist themselves; either at their homes, or at the Indian Market in Santa Fe, New Mexico. If you have any questions about any of the pieces, please feel free to ask. |
I find the New Guinea
culture to be interesting and sometimes a bit bizarre. We started
buying New Guinea art while we worked in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The art
we have are unique and we have many one-of-a-kind pieces. We offer a
mixture of some old pieces and some new. I sometimes tend to under
estimate the age because it is important you know what you are buying.
We NEVER sell a new piece as an old one. |

Our Miscellaneous Art
is a combination of collections we've made and or bought over the years
that do not fit into the categories listed. We hope you enjoy browsing
through the variety of things we have to offer. |
